1. PHOTOGRAPHIC MATERIAL

 

1.1. The fee for finding, preparation and scanning of digital photographs from the collection fund or non-collection fund

 

For each item provided: 300 CZK

 

1.2. The fee for finding, preparation and scanning of negatives from the collection fund or non-collection fund

 

For each item provided: 400 CZK

 

All scans are provided in the print resolution of 300 dpi.

 

Reproduction of collection exhibits from the Photo-Documentation Fund must be approved by the director of the Museum, reproduction of some particularly valuable pieces in the collection of this fund may not be allowed.

 

For students and researchers who use photos in student or professional papers, a discount is possible (if agreed by the director) only if one copy of the work is provided free of charge to the library of the MRC.

 

2. VIDEO

 

2.1. The fee for finding and preparation of a video footage from the collection fund or non-collection fund

 

Digital record: 300 CZK per item

 

Analogue record: 400 CZK per item

 

2.2. The fee for using a video footage from the collection fund or non-collection fund

 

Personal and research purposes leading a graduate thesis, under the condition that one copy of this thesis will be provided free of charge to the MRC library: free of charge

 

Personal and research purposes under the condition that the record will not be further distributed or used publicly: 5 CZK / min

 

Teaching and educational purposes including licenses for the use for these purposes: free of charge

 

Commercial purposes (DVD for sale, use in TV / documentary films): 150 CZK / min

 

Digital records are provided in the DVD-Video format, in the case of newer versions (2005 and younger) recorded by the MRC personnel, it is possible to agree on alternative formats (MPEG-2, MPEG-4).

 

Reproduction of collection exhibits from the Video-Documentation Fund must be approved by the director of the Museum, reproduction of some particularly valuable pieces in the collection of this fund may not be allowed.

 

3. AUDIO

 

3.1. The fee for finding and preparation of an audio recording from the collection fund or non-collection fund

 

Digital record: 350 CZK 

 

Analogue record: 450 CZK 

 

3.2. The fee for using an audio recording from the collection fund or non-collection fund

 

Personal and research purposes leading a graduate thesis, under the condition that one copy of this thesis will be provided free of charge to the MRC library: free of charge

 

Personal and research purposes under the condition that the record will not be further distributed or used publicly: 5 CZK / min

 

Teaching and educational purposes including licenses for the use for these purposes: 30 CZK / min

 

Commercial purposes (DVD for sale, use in TV / documentary films): 300 CZK / min

 

All digital records are provided in the waw format of 44.1 kHz or mp3.

 

Reproduction of collection exhibits from the Audio-documentation Fund must be approved by the director of the Museum, reproduction of some particularly valuable pieces in the collection of this fund may not be allowed.

 

4. PHOTOS OF COLLECTION ITEMS

 

4.1. The fee for finding, preparation of collection items and taking and editing their digital photos

 

For each item provided: 500 CZK

 

For students and researchers who use photos and video records of collection items in student or professional papers, a discount is possible (if agreed by the director) only if one copy of the work is provided free of charge to the MRC library.

5. XEROX COPIES

A3 ………………….. 10 CZK per item (one-sided copy of conventional books, copies and non-collection items)

 

A3 ………………….. 20 CZK per item (both-sided copy of conventional books, copies and collection items)

 

In case of rare books and collection items the price is based on an agreement and authorized by the director.

 

6. SCANS

 

6.1. Fee for scanning

 

1 page of a book: 30 CZK

 

1 page of a collection item or an item from a non-collection fund: 30 CZK

 

Reproduction of collection exhibits of the Museum must be approved by the director of the Museum, reproduction of some particularly valuable pieces may not be allowed.

 

Using your own scanner or camera is not allowed, see the Research Rules. In exceptional cases it is necessary ask the director for an exception.

 

7. RENTING SPACES AND TECHNOLOGY

 

7.1. Lecture Hall - The lecture hall includes a data-projector and a screen. If you are renting a sound system, authorisation by the director of the MRC is necessary, price negotiable.

 

4 500 CZK per day

 

8. Lectures on selected topics – for closed groups (not for the general public)

 

Lectures and discussions on selected topics only on the basis of a previous agreement.
