Genocide of Roma and Sinti during the Second World War
in the premises of the Prisoners’ House

 

The exhibition focuses on the theme of Nazi persecution and slaughter of Roma during World War II, especially in the territory of today’s Czech Republic. The exhibition is accompanied by a video recording of the memories of witnesses.

 

Selected findings from archaeological research in the former Gypsy camp in Lety u Písku
(in cooperation with the Department of Archeology of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen)
in the premises of the Prisoners’ House

 

A collection of selected items from prisoners’ personal equipment and prison barracks and camp fencing, which were extracted during archaeological research at the former so-called Gypsy camp in Lety in 2017. The research was carried out by the Department of Archeology of the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts Campaigns: Inclusive Strategies for Using European Conflicted Heritage ”.

in the premises of the Guards’ House

 

Competition models of monuments / sculptures design with given theme and winning composition op. 42 “1396” dedicated to the Holocaust Memorial of the Roma and Sinti in Moravia in Hodonín u Kunštátu and to the victims of the Roma Holocaust.
