Opening hours and tickets

We would like to inform visitors that the Museum is closed during the national holidays, July 5th and 6th.

Tuesday–Saturday 10 AM–6 PM

 

The Museum of Romani Culture is closed to visitors on Mondays. 

The last entry to the permanent exhibition and other exhibitions is at 5:15 PM.

 

ADMISSION

Permanent exhibition – The Story of the Roma

 

Single Entrance – Entry to all exhibitions included 120 Kč

Family Entrance – Entry to all exhibitions included 240 Kč

(2 adults + a maximum of 4 children age15 and under)

Holders of a valid Family Pass get a 15 % discount on the Family Entrance price.

 

Discounted Entrance – Entry to all exhibitions included 60 Kč

Children age 6–15,

Senior citizens age 60 and over upon submission of a Seniorpas or identity card,

Students up to and including age 26 upon submission of student identification,

such as an ISIC card,

Holders of a valid Alliance Française card,

Groups of 10 or more visitors.

 

Educational program for schools and other organizations 40Kč

 

Temporary exhibition

• Holders of a Honorary Pass or Free Pass from the Museum of Romani Culture,
• Holders of a valid AMG or ICOM and Ministry of Culture
• Holders of a valid BrnoPas card, Media staffers upon submission of a valid press card,
• Holders of a Czech National Tour Guide Card issued by the Czech Ministry for Regional Development.

 

 

More information

For safety reasons, groups of more than 10 people must ALWAYS be notified in advance at the following email address: pruvodce@rommuz.cz even if they are not interested in a guided tour or workshop. We do not guarantee immediate access to the exhibition without prior notice.

 

Entrance fee outside of opening hours

To make an appointment for a group of 10 or more to visit the museum outside of regular opening hours upon approval by the director of the museum. This service will be provided at the discretion of the museum (pruvodce@rommuz.cz). 

 

Educational programs and guided tours:

For a group of at least 5 persons the museum offers guided tours by appointment only with at least 24 hours’ notice.

For schools and other educational institutions it is possible to make an appointment for an educational program or guided tour for at least 5 and at most 30 persons. No program can be realized without a prior appointment.

 

An Audioguide in Czech, English or German will be provided at the reception desk upon request.

The Audioguide is free of charge for those who download the application of the Museum of Romani Culture.

 

Photography for non-commercial purposes

Photography for non-commercial purposes is permitted. The photographs taken must not be used in inappropriate or incorrect contexts. The museum reserves the right to ban the taking of photographs.
