Photographic competition
Topic of the competition:
As part of the photo-exhibition The Worlds of Andrej Pešta, we are announcing a photographic competition that builds on the contours of the work of Andrej Pešta. Andrej Pešta was a photographer, who photograped mostly in the period 1950 – 1980. The main theme of his work was the family of Pešta and his closest friends.
Contest categories and themes:
1) The Roma Family
– group photos from family albums, portraits, snapshots, everyday life of Roma families in the territory of Czechoslovakia until 1989
2) Romani behind the camera
– Are you Romani? Are you taking pictures?
– Thematically unlimited photos taken by one Romani author.
Competition date:
